The coconut tree (Cocos nucifera) is a member of the family Arecaceae (palm family) and the only species of the genus Cocos. The term coconut can refer to the whole coconut palm or the seed, or the fruit, which, botanically, is a drupe, not a nut.

Hawai'i coconuts are lush and full of Aloha! I range my coconuts on a scale of #1-8.
#1.Popper/Drinker = No coconut meat.
#2.Ghost jelly = Thin translucent coconut meat.
#3.Spoon meat = Can scrape coconut meat with spoon – great for yogurt making.
#4.Finger meat = Coconut meat is ¼ inch and in between rubbery and hard A.K.A “The Magic Nut”.
#5.Sweet Meats = 1/3 inch coconut meat with sweet water, need coco tool for meat removal.
#6.Champagne = Effervescent water with thick grainy coconut meat, great for making milk, kefir, soap, etc.
#7.Shaker = You can hear the water shaking, ½ inch coconut meat, super grainy, can be used for all kinds of coco treats.
#8.Sprout/Hawaiian cotton candy = Keiki sprouts ready for planting and soft Angel food cake coconut meat for eats.

Palm services
Climb, Cut & Clean. Are your coconut palms looking a little sad? Are they blowing in the wind asking for a new haircut?! Well, I'm your guy.
Hotel cuts - (9 -12 months until next harvest) x8-10 fronds remaining and all flower pods removed
Modified Hotel cuts - (6 -9 until next harvest) A regular cut with all flower pods removed
Regular cut - (3-6 months until next harvest) Harvest and remove only what is ready for consumption and associated fronds

Haul off property services = $25/palm.

•Prune = pruning back palms, from the ground, so they aren’t touching your house or causing damage to existing structures. ($20-$45/per tree)
•Planting = Will bring and plant coconut trees, ($20-$40/per palm) purchased and planted.

•Prices may adjust due to assisted ground help and/or coconut trade. 10% OFF for post ground clean up or 20% OFF for live action ground assistance (untying ropes, moving and loading coconuts, removing fronds from ground and rope entanglements). Will also pay .50 cents/ per coconut traded/removed from property for reduction of climbing/cleaning bill.
Ex. 10 trees(One tree hotel cut @ ($125), Seven trees regular climb, cut & clean @$75/each = ($525) and Two trees pruned @ $30/each = ($60) $710 total - 100 coconuts =($50) coconut discount(@.50 cents/each) harvested = $660 minus 20% OFF Live action assisted ground discount ($132 discount) = $528 Final Total
Total coconut palm service bill for ten palms =($52.80/tree*) climbed, cut and cleaned after 20% live action assisted ground and coconut discounts.

Want to learn how to climb? Do you need to learn how to properly open coconuts with a machete?!
1hr , 2hr and 3hr lessons are available to acquire Coconut knowledge, planting requirements, sharpening and machete skills for safety, climbing a coconut tree and making all of your friends back home jealous = $priceless$
1 hr lesson = $80 : Coconut opening and proper uses of coconut tools.
2 hr lesson = $120 : Coconut climbing action. Will get you up in a tree and harvesting coconuts.
3 hr lesson = $160 : Learn to climb, cut, clean & chop like a master!!!
